God’s kind of faith 5

Anyone cannot receive anything from God. No matter how spiritually sound you are, if the method of faith is not implemented, was not suggested, was not given by God, then it would be that would have been no means God can meet your needs. Now in the book of Romans chapter number 4, there's something there I want us to see together. In the book of Romans chapter number 4, verse number 13, I'll begin from verse 13 to verse number 16 or 17. I'll read in the King James Version. It says, For the promise that he should be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. That means God's promise to Abraham was not going to be fulfilled because Abraham will fulfill the law. No, if God will have to wait for Abraham to be impeccable in matters of using the law, then the promise of God may not come to pass. But verse number 14, the Bible says, For if they which are of the law, heirs, I mean, be heirs, then faith is made void. I'll read that again. For if they which are of the law be heirs, then faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect. You know what? God can either fulfill His promises to you through the law, or He can fulfill the promises to you through the righteousness of faith. Now why will it be impossible? Why will it be almost impossible for God to fulfill His promise to you through the law? Because you can't keep it. Simple. You can't make it. He says the law of the old covenant is like a fence that is taller than you in about 200 or 400,000 pounds taller than you. You can't climb through. There is no way you can climb it through and climb into the other side and escape that law. It's so huge, it's so high out there. No man can keep it. And that is why God wanting to meet the need of man, He therefore created an abridge. He created a means whereby you can get more than faith, and you can receive what law could not give you. Amen. And that is the law of the righteousness of faith. Amen. I call it the law of the righteousness of faith because while faith, having righteousness because faith is righteous. It's God's idea. It's God's way of making us to receive from God by believing in Christ, by believing in God. That's number 15. The Bible says because the law worker wrath. For where no law is, there is no transgression. Now what does that mean? It is because there is law that I realize that there is something called stealing. It is because there is law that I realize that something called unforgiveness, I didn't know unforgiveness existed. But the law told me that one. But He didn't say it to me in the intent of helping me. He said it to me in the intent of making me feel bad. And so it brings me no condemnation. It brings me to the point whereby I sorrow from accepting the Father. And that's why I always tell the people, don't play around with sin. If you play around with sin and say, but God forgive me of my sin, how people on the time of grace, I tell you it's going to affect your prayer life. Because sin will make you shrink out from God's confidence. You can't pray in faith because you are not going to have confidence before Him. Hallelujah. Amen. Praise God. So what sin will do to you is that it will weaken you. It will weaken your good heart. It will weaken your inflamed heart of faith. It will make you not to be bold before the devil. It will make you not to be bold before the world. I mean, for example, if a person is indicted in the sin of adultery, how can he continue the ministry in that place in an easier way? He will not be able to do it the way he would have done if the act had not been there. Hallelujah. Romans chapter 4, now past number 16, where we're going. The Bible says, Therefore it is of faith that it might be by grace. Praise God. Number one, faith makes it possible for us to receive what our inadequate self cannot do. Faith makes it possible for what our inadequate self cannot do. For example, if you want to receive the blessing of God in the old covenant, you must be impeccable. You must have no sin, you must have no sin possibility inside of your being.
